Technative Makes Headlines

OK headlines might be a slight exaggeration but we did make it into the news this week. We’ve been working with Grant Thornton for a while but until recently we haven’t actually worked in our home city of Sheffield for them.

In mid-2018 we started working with the team in Sheffield to help create a visually stunning, high-tech space for their employees and clients but with Grant Thornton moving into a previously derelict building work for us didn’t start until Dec 2018.

The building is in a prime location next to the City Hall, and now complete is a 14000sq ft, five storey Grade A office space. Although they are moving into new offices, Grant Thornton are no strangers to the city, having had offices here for 50 years. We only hope we can say the same for our little company in 50 years time!

As with all our projects the process was collaborative to get the best possible result for the people who will be working in the new office. This is what head honcho (Senior Partner) Paul Haughton had to say:

“Grant Thornton is grateful to everyone who has helped bring the building to fruition, including the hard work of Brook Property, Sheffield City Council and our fit-out contractors, including state-of-the-art technology from Sheffield Audio-Visual specialists, Technative Live. It’s been a truly collaborative effort.”
