Why Was Technative there?

This case study explores how we transformed a Grant Thorntons Manchester’s meeting facilities to foster seamless collaboration and enhance presentations.

The challenge

The client sought to modernise their meeting spaces to accommodate various presentation styles and audience sizes. They desired a solution for a breakout area that would:

  • Offer a large display for clear presentations.

  • Enable wireless laptop connectivity for ease of use.

  • Integrate Bluetooth audio for high-quality sound.

  • Provide access to Freeview TV for diverse content options.

  • Function as an overflow space for existing meeting rooms.

THE SOLUTION

86-inch Display in Breakout Area: This large screen facilitated clear presentations and accommodated larger audiences.

  • Wireless Connectivity: Users could effortlessly connect their laptops for presentations without cumbersome cables.

  • Bluetooth Audio: Integrated Bluetooth ensured high-fidelity sound for presentations and multimedia content.

  • Freeview TV: The system offered access to Freeview TV channels, expanding content options for meetings and informal gatherings.

  • Repeater Screen and Microphone: The breakout area could seamlessly connect to existing meeting rooms, functioning as overflow space. A repeater screen ensured clear visuals for remote participants, while microphone vocal reinforcement guaranteed audibility.

Meeting Room (Cityscape):

TechNative Solutions also optimized the existing "Cityscape" meeting room, transforming it into a modern Teams Room. This included:

  • Poly Studio USB: This advanced video conferencing system facilitated high-quality audio and video calls, ideal for remote collaboration.

  • 65-inch Display: The large screen provided a clear view for both in-person and remote participants.

  • Occupancy Sensor: The display automatically turned on upon entering the room for a sustainable approach, switching off after a set period of inactivity.
